The Calgary Police Foundation (CPF) was established to partner exclusively with the Calgary Police Service to deliver programs to help vulnerable and at-risk youth in Calgary. CPF funds six youth-based programs with the goal of reduced youth victimization and criminal activity. These programs are delivered by members of the Calgary Police Service and dedicated professionals who focus on education, prevention, and early intervention.
The Calgary Police Foundation is committed to keeping kids safe and strong, and targets areas in Calgary where the need is the greatest, implementing programs where they will have the most impact on children, youth, and families.

Trust
The Calgary Police Foundation believes that building trust is paramount in forming meaningful relationships with children, parents, families, and the community. The Calgary Police Service is committed to building trust and safe spaces for children from all backgrounds and endeavours to create lasting and supportive relationships with kids in the Foundation’s funded programs. Trust is crucial in building strong relations with stakeholders, donors, and partners to be of the highest value to the kids and families the Foundation supports.
Knowledge
The Calgary Police Foundation, the Calgary Police Service, and the professionals who deliver the Foundation’s funded programs, strive to gain and build knowledge to understand the community in which they operate. This includes building an understanding of children’s needs within communities where the need is greatest. Through knowledge sharing and empowerment children who go through the CPF funded programs like YouthLink, MASST and ISSP gain knowledge to make S.M.A.R.T decisions and positive life choices.
Partnerships
The Calgary Police Foundation believes that enduring partnerships are the foundation to providing the best possible services in education, early intervention, and prevention for at risk and vulnerable kids. Without strong, crucial, and caring partnerships with the Calgary Police Service and dedicated stakeholders, the Foundation would not have the resources needed to uphold the Calgary Police Foundation promise.

The Calgary Police Foundation prides itself on being able to demonstrate the impact of it’s investment to foster a safer and healthier community.
