All ticket proceeds benefit the Calgary Police Foundation and our six programs focused on reducing youth victimization and criminalization in our community.

3 PM – 5 PM – Event Activities and Meet and Greet with Calgary Police Service Units and Cosplayers
5 PM – 7 PM – Event Program, Carnival Inspired Dinner, and Interactive Magic Show
3 PM – Event Starts
For the next two hours, you will be amazed by the six special activity stations set up for you. All children will receive a free autograph book to collect stamps and autographs from all of their favourite heroes. Each station will feature Police Officers from some of the most popular CPS Units, an alluring activity, photo and autograph opportunities, and a charming goody for each guest. A roaming photographer will also be on site to capture all the great moments!
CPS Units onsite will include:
- Tactical Unit
- Justice Facility Dog and Officer
- Marine Unit with boat
- Traffic Unit with motorcycle
- Crime Scene Unit and Forensic Vehicle
- CPS Pipe Band
- CPS Ceremonial Unit
Each CPS activity will also be paired with information from one of the Calgary Police Foundation’s youth programs!
Other special guests that you will have a chance to meet, take photos with, and fill your autograph book include some fun mascots and action heroes:
- Harvey the Hound – Calgary Flames
- HolyBatman
- The Alberta Ghostbusters
- 501 Legion – Badlands Garrison The 501 Legion – a volunteer organization dedicated to wearing screen-accurate replicas of the villains from the Star Wars universe.
- Rebel Legion – a volunteer organisation dedicated to wearing screen-accurate replicas of the good guys from the Star Wars universe.
- Country 105 Cash Cow
- Country 105 Street team – Station Cruiser on site and street team to hand out swag and prizes.
- Simon the Safety Bear – The Calgary Police Service Safety Bear
5 PM – Dinner Begins
We will move into the dining area, decorated for you – our heroes! The CPS Regimental Ceremonial & Pipe Band will start off this portion of the event. A delicious family friendly buffet of carnival fair food and beverages will have guests delighted. Gluten Friendly options available.

- Carnival Summer Slaw
- Lavender Lemonade & Peach Tea
- Fresh Cotton Candy made on site
- For an extra special treat, there will be a unique doughnut display with Calgary’s own Jelly Modern Doughnuts!

6 PM – Start of Event Program
There will be a short program followed by a Magic Show by beloved Magician, Richard Young. Come and grab a seat and get in close as he dazzles and tricks the eye with magical entertainment. Who knows, we may see a bunny pulled out of a hat or a dove disappear! And, last but not least – a parade of our little guest super heroes who chose to dress up for the event.
